Border Geo-Science is an independent Geological and Natural Resource consultancy based in Central Scotland, providing a point of contact service for advice, information and solutions in areas mainly related to the onshore and offshore geology of the northern UK.

Border Geo-Science was formed in 2000.  The senior partners have over 50 combined years of relevant experience in the geology and minerals resources of the northern UK, mainly gained in their carreers with the British Geological Survey. This means that we can offer possibly one of the best multi-disciplinary teams to provide our clients with professional geo-scientific expertise and experience to the highest of standards.

The practice offers specialities in Site Assessments, Geo-enivronmental Services, Mineral Assessments and Planning, Groundwater Progonosis, Geological and Geochemical Surveying and Expert Witness Services across Scotland and more widely within the UK.

At Border Geo-Science we work closely with associate consultants including Ecologists, Archaeologists, Mineral Valuers, Land Surveyors, Landscape Architects and Structural Engineers. This allows the consultancy to offer you the client a broader service beyond the in-house expertise.

The practice has gained a good reputation with clients within both public and private sectors, particularly with land owners and companies within the building, mineral, geo-environmental and renewables industries across the northern UK for whom we have provided a high quality service but at a competitive rate.
